What is the CIDM Experience Route?
It is an assessment pathway through which experienced professionals may be considered for an appropriate CIDM membership grade based on their qualifications, professional experience, competence and career profile.
Who can apply?
Experienced professionals working in digital marketing, marketing, communications, brand, search, social media, ecommerce, growth, customer experience and related disciplines may apply for assessment.
Do I need a digital marketing degree?
Not necessarily for every grade. Relevant qualifications, professional credentials and practical experience are considered together. Doctoral Fellowship has an advanced academic requirement as stated above.
Can entrepreneurs and business owners apply?
Yes, where they can demonstrate relevant professional experience, responsibilities, achievements or contribution in digital marketing or related areas.
What grade do I qualify for?
The experience bands provide an initial guide. Your final membership grade is confirmed only after CIDM assesses your complete professional profile.
Is Doctoral Fellowship an academic doctorate?
No. It is a professional fellowship designation and should not be represented as an earned academic doctorate or PhD.
How does Honorary Fellowship work?
Honorary Fellowship is a distinguished recognition considered through nomination or institutional consideration and remains subject to assessment and approval. It is separate from ordinary experience-based admission.
Are applications automatically approved after payment?
No. Membership admission is subject to assessment and approval. Applicants should follow the Institute's confirmed admission and payment instructions.
