The Chartered Institute of Digital Marketing, Nigeria (CIDM Nigeria) is a professional body dedicated to advancing professional standards, competence, innovation and excellence in digital marketing and related disciplines.

The Institute exists to support the development of skilled, ethical and forward-thinking digital marketing professionals who can respond effectively to the rapidly changing demands of today's digital economy. Through professional membership, training, certification, continuous professional development, industry engagement and knowledge sharing, CIDM Nigeria provides a platform for individuals to develop their capabilities, demonstrate professional competence and pursue continuous career advancement.

The Chartered Institute of Digital Marketing, Nigeria is established under the Chartered-ship House Bill HB.2812 and approved by the Federal Ministry of Education.

CIDM Nigeria serves professionals across a broad spectrum of digital and marketing disciplines, including digital marketing, social media marketing, search engine optimisation, content marketing, digital advertising, e-commerce, brand management, customer experience, marketing communications, digital strategy, analytics and other emerging areas of the digital economy.

The Institute recognises that professionals enter the industry through different pathways. For this reason, CIDM Nigeria provides two principal professional development routes: the Experience Route and the Training Route.

The Experience Route is designed for eligible professionals whose qualifications, relevant work experience, leadership responsibilities and demonstrated professional competence may qualify them for an appropriate grade of professional membership, subject to assessment and approval by the Institute.

The Training Route provides structured professional education for graduates, career switchers, entrepreneurs, business owners and professionals seeking to build or strengthen practical digital marketing capabilities through learning, practical projects, assessment and professional certification.

Beyond training and certification, The Chartered Institute of Digital Marketing, Nigeria seeks to build a vibrant professional community where practitioners can continuously learn, connect, exchange knowledge, develop leadership capacity and contribute to the advancement of digital marketing practice.
